2nd clinic session for the First 30
Nov 30th
Hello everyone,
The date was set more than a month ago for last Saturday 26th November in La Rochelle. The agenda for this day was drawn up by Marc Reine, national technical advisor to the FFV for cruisers.
Three First 30 JK, their owners, as well as their crews had set a date to meet up and approve the main improvements to be made to the trims.
This was without counting the other First 30 JK owners who made the trip (sometimes from a good distance) to complete the crews and 2 other BENETEAU boats of the same size, which agreed to join them to view the progress.

Evening regatta on the american west coast

Hi First 30 fans,
I just wanted to share with you my first racing experience on the First 30.
I had a blast with this boat last night for our first race.
We delivered ‘’Invictus’’ to her owner last week. After having a lot of big powerboat, Tim, the owner, CEO of a big corporation, decided to learn sailing and have chosen the First 30 (the biggest fun dinghy on the market according to him) to learn sailing and go to Catalina island with his kids. We went out only once before with Tim’s full family the week end before, doing almost 7.8 knots average on reaching during all afternoon.

From snow to sun
Covered in a thick layer of snow during the Nautic Boat Show in Paris, the new First 30 is now sailing the seas thanks to its owner, Stéphane BOUILLON!
Formerly owner of two First 31.7s, Stéphane wanted to change his boat. His requirements were that it had to be a comfortable cruiser for training purposes, high-performing during regattas, and suitable for chartering.
Based on Stéphane’s first impressions during the winter training sessions organized by his sailing club, he seems to have pulled this off!
