An association with real class!

Hello everybody!
If you remember, one of our previous articles announced the creation of a First 30 owners association with the principal aim of competing head-to-head in real time.
Well, after a get-together at the Paris Boat Show on 4 December last year, things have moved on a long way.
On Friday 14 January, following a tour of the First 30 production plant, four owners met at Beauvoir-sur-Mer to sign the founding principles of the association and decide on its name: the Classe First 30 JK (First 30 JK class).

You have been many to assist to the meeting with the Team First 30, on December the 4th at the Nautic de Paris, and we thank you for your ongoing enthusiasm.
Unfortunately, and for reasons beyond their control (air traffic controler strike and snow !) part of the Team (Juan K. and Kevin Sproul) were unable to join us.

The interest drummed up by the new FIRST30 and this blog has far exceeded our expectations.
To thank you for your support and to continue to forge links with you, Team FIRST 30 is organising a private day, in the presence of its Team members, in Paris on 4th December 2010. Eric Ingouf, Michel Desjoyeaux and Juan K. will naturally be attending and will be available to exchange ideas with you.
